What You Get

LIVE: Monday, 21 September to Friday, 25 September, 2026
TIME: 7 PM London UK (BST)
HOST: Astrid Kauffmann
FORMAT: 5 Live Jin Shin Jyutsu Practice Sessions + Replays + Session Notes & Exercises

Grief is part of being human, but it's not always recent.

We can grieve something that happened weeks, months, years, or even decades ago.

Grief does not always disappear just because time has passed. It can remain under the surface, or return unexpectedly.

Grief can come with the death of someone we love, the end of a relationship, a change in our health, the loss of a home, a way of life, a dream, or simply a chapter of our lives that has come to an end.

We may also grieve the past itself: the life we once had, the person we used to be, opportunities that have gone, relationships that changed, or a chapter of life we wish had turned out differently.

And everyone experiences grief differently.

For some, it comes in waves. For others, it lies buried. It may bring sadness, tears, anger, fear, exhaustion, loneliness or a feeling of being completely stuck.

There is no timetable for grief and there is no 'right' way to experience it.

Whether your grief is recent, long-held, or connected with something from your past, this 5-Day Jin Shin Jyutsu intensive is designed to help you harmonise the many physical, mental and emotional aspects of grief.

Through powerful self-help holds and flows, we will support the body’s natural ability to release, rebalance and move forward.

Over the course of five days, I’ll guide you through Jin Shin Jyutsu sequences, or flows, to:

  • Calm the waves of worry, fear, anger, sadness and emotional overwhelm
  • Release some of the heaviness and tension we carry with grief
  • Open the breath to let go
  • Restore strength, balance and a greater sense of inner calm
  • Renew vitality and reconnect with life

Grief may be part of our human experience, but we do not have to stay stuck in it.

Jin Shin Jyutsu gives us ways to help ourselves through the process – helping energy to move and emotions to change.

The 5-Day Journey

Each live practice session lasts between 45-60 minutes and provides you with practical, hands-on exercises you can easily incorporate into your daily routine.

Day 2: Unburden and release (22 Sept)

Five different practices over five days.

Give yourself the gift of this space to support yourself through grief and allow life to begin flowing again.

Who is Astrid Kauffmann?

Since 1999, I have clocked up tens of thousands of hours in the study and practice of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

I have also taught thousands of students in offline and online classroom settings over the last 26 years. From their own feedback, often inspiring them to study and practice further.

Ever since those early days when I used a couple of simple hand positions to stop a migraine, to the awareness of MYSELF today, Jin Shin Jyutsu IS now as fundamental to me as breathing.

I LOVE this ART OF LIVING and I love sharing it with others.
